Banking Exam

The demand for Bank jobs in India is increasing among freshers than ever before compared to other career options. With IBPS common bank exams, common interviews, recruitments are being filled fast.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will conduct Common Written Examination or CWE for Clerical Cadre in December 2012. The system of Common Written Examination has been approved by each of the 19 participating Public Sector Banks and the Indian Banks' Association (IBA) with the consent of Government of India.

The Syllabus for the Clerical Cadre exam is as mentioned below: All questions are objective type. Test of reasoning, English Language, Numerical Ability, General Awareness (with special reference to banking industry) and Computer Knowledge are each 40 questions from total of 200 questions with 200 marks duration of 2 hours.

The above tests except the Test of English Language will be printed bilingually, ie English and Hindi.

For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score.
